Description
Huawei Backup Box-B1 is the grid and backup changeover interface for selected three-phase Huawei SUN2000 M1 inverter and battery systems. The grid and inverter side is three-phase, but the documented backup-load output is single-phase only.

Not three-phase backup and not a zero-interruption UPS
B1 does not deliver three-phase backup to all building circuits. A qualified designer must select suitable single-phase critical loads and keep the calculated backup demand within the documented output. The specified switchover takes time; equipment that cannot tolerate interruption requires its own suitable UPS. Backup power and duration depend on inverter capability, battery state of charge, battery configuration and actual loads.

Compatibility, inverter firmware, grid type, phase allocation, protection, conductor sizing, earthing, isolation and commissioning settings must be verified for the site.
