16S LiFePO4 enclosure and electronics kit — cells are not included
SEPLOS MASON-280 DIY kit is a horizontal enclosure and electronics kit for a qualified 16-series LiFePO4 battery build. It is not a complete battery and cannot store energy on its own. Battery cells, their testing, their assembly and the finished battery capacity are not included in this product.
The finished capacity depends entirely on separately selected compatible cells. Do not order this kit as a substitute for a ready-made 16 kWh battery: a stated energy value only becomes relevant after the selected cells have been professionally checked, matched, installed and commissioned.
What the kit is for
The supplied configuration is intended as a practical platform for a technically competent build: a horizontal enclosure, an integrated SEPLOS smart 16S 200 A BMS, active balancing, LCD display, CAN and dual RS485 communication. Exact cell dimensions, terminals, assembly sequence, protection and inverter profile must be checked before purchase and again before energising the completed pack.
What is not included
- LiFePO4 battery cells
- a completed battery capacity or usable-energy promise
- an inverter, DC protection, cables or installation service
- certification of a customer-assembled finished battery
The enclosure alone does not create a certified complete battery. The older MASON-280 specification in the supplied document set concerns a different complete 280 Ah product; it is not a datasheet or certificate for a customer-built kit.
Design before ordering
A competent installer or battery builder should confirm cell compatibility, terminal layout, BMS settings, fuse and disconnect design, conductor size, enclosure placement, CAN or RS485 profile and the exact inverter model. Do not mix unverified cells, use damaged cells or energise an unfinished assembly. Commissioning must follow the applicable electrical and battery-safety requirements.
Installation environment
Plan the completed assembly for a stable, dry and ventilated technical location with a non-combustible base, appropriate clearances and service access. The enclosure dimensions are 750 × 440 × 251 mm; its kit weight without cells is 30 kg. The completed assembly will weigh substantially more, depending on the chosen cells and added components.
