We are developing a compact local energy controller with a shared plan for the home. Hudratore Tomo AI Core is built around real data and evaluated in our reference installation.

A small box with a view of the whole energy system

Our reference platform uses an N150 mini computer with Home Assistant. Its modular software brings together solar production, household consumption, grid flows and battery status. The aim is to connect what the home is doing now with sensible choices for the hours ahead.

Planning around the home

The intended control system considers actual consumption, solar output and available battery energy alongside price intervals, weather forecasts and user priorities. Its daily plan is designed to adapt as conditions change, including unexpected sunshine, additional household demand or a different need for hot water.

On a sunny afternoon, the home needs energy for its immediate loads. Depending on the configuration and conditions, surplus energy can serve the battery or water heating. Evening decisions should account for the household’s reserve and the current economics. Coordinating these needs is the purpose of the project.

Measurements that fit the installation

The central energy view uses solar power, household consumption, grid flow, battery charge level and battery power. Additional temperatures, tanks, controllable appliances and individual solar arrays can be added as modules. A physical sensor is one possible source; supported integrations and calculated values can also supply data.

A local foundation with understandable decisions

We design the core for local operation. Prices, forecasts and individual devices depend on their particular data sources and integrations. The interface is intended to show measurements, plans, reasons and observed results. Installation settings stay separate from the software to support further development and updates.

Supported adapters translate intentions into native device modes. Inverter, battery and thermostat protections remain part of the correctly designed installation.

Where development stands

The development system already reads live inputs and provides a configuration interface. Local and native tests are documented, while work continues on integration paths and output adapters. Taking over physical control of individual devices remains a separately verified stage.

This is a preview of a product in development. A launch date will follow the relevant operational tests. The benefit depends on the home, equipment, tariff and usage.

Interested in coordinating solar power, battery storage and heat? Contact WodaTherm™ with your inverter, battery and heating details so we can consider a suitable configuration.

Solar generation, a battery and household heating work best when their needs are considered together.
