1-2. Install utilities for compiling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Execute following command in terminal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


sudo apt update<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

sudo apt upgrade<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

sudo apt install build-essential clang flex g++ gawk gcc-multilib gettext git<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

libncurses5-dev libssl-dev python3-distutils rsync unzip zlib1g-dev pkg-config<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1-3. Clone Source Code and Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Clone the main branch and update it
git clone https<\/strong>:\/\/git.openwrt.org\/openwrt\/openwrt.git<\/em>
cd openwrt<\/em>
.\/scripts\/feeds update -a<\/em>
.\/scripts\/feeds install -a<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


1-4. Menuconfig Setting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


make menuconfig<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Select the following setting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Target System: MediaTek Ralink MIPS<\/strong>
Subtarget: MT7621 based boards<\/strong>
Target Profile: AP7621-001<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Starting AP7621 platform for verify<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After burning and booting your AP7621, you can check the interface on OpenWRT by the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ifconfig -a<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
